The HelpConnection solution is written using ASP.NET 2.0 technology by Microsoft.
In order to successfully install and run the HC solution on your server, you need to meet
the following criteria:
 Windows Server - Windows NT, or Windows XP Pro, or any of Windows 2000 or 2003 or Vista
Microsoft SQL Server - HC supports MS SQL server 2000 or MSDE or SQL 2005 or SQL Express
IIS - Microsoft's Web server that runs on one of the above mentioned platforms.
ASP.NET 2.0, or ASP.NET 2.0 Beta, though the last release is recommended.
32 bit compilation, 64bit compilations will be supported spring 2008
The only requirements on the client/admin side are internet connectivity and the use of an up-to-date browser.
(Ideally the MS Internet Explorer, though this is only a recommendation, not a requirement.)
Internet or Intranet connectivity, so you can work with the solution.
Modern and up-to-date browser, so you can take advantage of the interface.
Now for the downside. Although every effort has been made to make the HC solution Mac compatible, Mac is not directly supported for the admin side.
If Mac support is essential for your admin agents, please test the demo thoroughly (using your Mac), paying particular attention to any text editors.
